A return trip to "The Battlefield Line" was made as I had only visited half of the locations I had identified from the OS map the previous day. Also, I was captivated by the delightful T9 4-4-0. Unfortunately the frosty, misty conditions were slow to clear and a sunny period was only briefly sustained before dark cloud prevailed.
