It seems like an age since we were last able to visit the Narrow Gauge Railways in North Wales. Not because we had it, but with Government restrictions and other complications due to Covid-19 it seemed to be sensible to keep away. With better times in 2023 we ventured back only to face extreme weather with strong winds and very heavy rain at times causing significant operational problems. With a landslide on Tuesday disrupting the Ffestiniog Railway service we abandoned the Talyllyn on Thursday in order to complete a round trip on the Ffestiniog. The pictures probably tell the story better than words. Please have a look - it's free!
