The weekend of October 3rd and 4th 2020 had a very poor weather forecast that caused me to abandon plans to visit Carlisle on Saturday 3rd and it wasn't until after lunch on Sunday 4th that I was confident enough to pop over to Loughborough to see what was running on the GCR. In an hour and a half I photographed the service train at four locations and recorded the locomotives on display in Quorn Yard. A successful trip!

It is interesting how the GCR is operating, at the moment. I think, having locos, at Quorn, for inspection by the public, is a very good idea.
