It seemed ages since I had spent a full day on the GCR when I visited on August Bank Holiday 2017. The 45 min timetable was in operation with two steam and one diesel locomotive in service. There was some loss of time due to lineside fires but more restrained running in the afternoon eliminated the problem and right time departures returned.
