On Sunday 23rd January 2022 I went first to the Fielding Road public footpath that crosses the line just north of Leicester North Station. I was fairly convinced the locomotive would be running tender first and thus it was not a surprise when my favourite tender, Stanier 3500 gallon capacity Number 4648, appeared attached to Class 8F 2-8-0 48305.
