According to the weather forecasts Friday 8th September 2017 was likely to be the worst of the days we spent in North Wales. But it turned out to be the best! And "The Talyllyn Railway" looked delightful although only two locomotives, No.1 TALYLLYN and No.7 TOM ROLT were in steam. Had we been able to go the previous day No.2 DOLGOCH would have been seen in addition with the Victorian train. This line is such a contrast to the larger cousins to the north.
