Throughout the summer season of 2016 all my attempts to photograph "The Shakespeare Express" failed as the train was re-routed without proper warning. I was determined to see the train on the final Sunday, 4th September, by visiting locations that were common to both routes. 4965 ROOD ASHTON HALL looked superb as always and performed well on both morning and afternoon trains.
