Sunday 12th July 2020 was warm and sunny throughout, providing ideal conditions to observe the trains on the GCR as they rehearsed preparation for passenger operation as the Covid-19 pandemic rules were gradually relaxed. The steam haulage between Loughborough and Leicester North was with 73156 for the third day in succession and the North Eastern Railway Autcar made repeated runs between Loughborough and Rothley.
