On Saturday 1st May 2021 I travelled with Denis King to the GWSR for a day's photography. They had two steam locomotives in service providing opportunities at for pictures at several locations. The website had indicated that 35006 PENINSULAR & ORIENTAL S.N. Co. and 7820 DINMORE MANOR would run but the latter was replaced with 7903 FOREMARKE HALL for unknown reasons. The weather forecast suggested a day of sunny periods with scattered heavy showers which proved very accurate with the major rain coinciding with lunch in the car. All very enjoyable; both the trains and the lunch!
