The GCR Goods Galore Event in 2019 coincided with my birthday weekend so that family commitments allowed only a short visit on Sunday 12th May. Fortunately that ensured that I missed the cavalcade of steam locomotives. Why do they spoil such a good event with something so stupid as multiple locomotives coupled together trundling up and down the line? Shame the Hall failed but otherwise, from a spectator point of view, a good event.
