The weekend of Saturday 5th-Sunday 6th April 2025 was a collaborative attempt between north and south factions to reactivate interest in reunification. I visited only on the second day and was disappointed and surprised by the very small number of photographers recording the event. Admittedly there were no visiting locomotives but three steam locomotives, two diesel electrics and a diesel railcar in superb weather guaranteed great photographs. I just hope there was more interest up north as the venture deserved to be a success.
