Saturday 11th November was unusually bright and sunny for the autumn of 2023 which has been very wet, dull and rather cold. It was a good opportunity the visit the GCR and, all being well, secure some bright photographs before winter really settles in. 9F 92214 had been turned which was rather a surprise and both green and blue DMUs were in use: the green set restored to three vehicles ahead of next week’s mini gala and the blue set in two car formation which was presumably updating driver competences. Considering the season, it was quite a good day out.
