The advertised steam locomotive for Wednesday 13th June 2018 was south facing 8F 2-8-0 48624. Presumable for cost reduction it was replaced by north facing Ivatt 2-6-0 46521. Its first run with the 11:00 from Loughborough to Leicester North was seen approaching Kinchley Lane very late.
