There are many things Heritage Railways do very well; sometimes stupid is the only term I can think of to describe their actions. Judge for yourself which applied in this case. The severely delayed 13:43 from Cheltenham to Broadway was a seven coach train that had a potential 8460 HP to propel it along the track. At the front were two Class 47s, 47 376 and 47 105 of 2580 HP each and at the rear a Class 55 Deltic 55 019 of 3300 HP. If you wish to argue that the Deltic had only one engine operational then you are missing the point!
