Gresley A4 Class 8P 4-6-2 60007 SIR NIGEL GRESLEY had been announced as the guest locomotive at the Nene Valley Railway for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. It had to move from it’s home base in Crewe and, as no suitable railtour had been organised, this required a special engine and support coach move. Unfortunately, the day when this move was scheduled turned out to be almost continuous light rain with dull skies which, when combined with a single coach train, made selection of locations quite difficult. Still, I managed to capture a few images to record the occasion.
