The Standard 9Fs are frequently described as the most successful of the post nationalisation locomotives. With 251 members of the class they were by far the most numerous. The 16:30 up from Loughborough on 14th June 2014 was worked by 92212 in dirty black unlined livery. It is typical of the later engines with double chimney and large 5625 gallon capacity BR1F tender.
