"The Talisman" excursion on Saturday 6th May 2017 was an opportunity to photograph TORNADO on the main-line with the expectation of three shots without any problems with traffic. Shame I didn't study the timings provided by NR, as even a fool like me could see they were impossible on the up journey. Steam locomotives cannot run over 230 miles without a decent water stop!
