The Vintage Trains “White Rose” excursion from Birmingham to York on Friday 17th June 2022 served a double purpose. This train was no doubt popular but it also put the steam locomotive in the right place for a trip the next day from York to Newcastle and return to Birmingham. This photograph shows 6233 DUCHESS OF SUTHERLAND heading north of Tamworth displaying “The White Rose” headboard.
