I went to Hellifield Station to see the engine taking water and being serviced. I had no idea how long it would have to wait and it would soon be dark. The photograph shows the locomotive standing in the up loop while the support crew fill the tender tank with water and move coal forward in the tender. It was interesting to see that steam was passing through the cylinders to keep them warm prior to departure.
