On Sunday 7th April 2024 my main objective was to photograph “The Shakespeare Express” running between Stratford upon Avon and Birmingham, However, since I had a small item of business to complete in Leicester, I managed to combine that with a few shots of the morning steam service on the GCR. It was an extremely windy morning and that made it difficult to hear approaching trains.
