On Sunday 26th September 2021 I went over to the GCR for a brief afternoon visit. I had missed my intended main line trip on Saturday 25th September because of a severe cold and I hardly slept at all on the Friday night. I just didn't feel I would be safe driving when so tired. Hence the brief visit to Kinchley Lane which is now completely transformed into the style it used to be a few years ago. It should be a great Autumn Steam Gala but be sure to arrive early. Competition for the best positions will be keen!
