I expected that this would be my last visit to The Battlefield Line for a while as the Caledonian Railway 0-4-4T No.419 was soon due to depart in order to attend an event at The West Somerset Railway. There were a couple of locations remaining that I had hoped to use and Saturday 1st May 2022 seemed to be convenient both with the weather forecast and another event at the GCR for one day only on May Day Bank Holiday Monday. Once more the little tank did not disappoint and I was moderately pleased with the results.
