The GCR Last Hurrah mini-Gala of the 2017 Season featured seven home-fleet locomotives. Probably the most significant feature was the public launch of Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0ST 68067. For me the day was a fitting climax to an eventful year for the railway. Just think of the bridge over the Midland line.
