After spending the morning photographing "The Cheshireman" excursion at three locations between Northampton and Chester I decided to make a detour on the way home and see Vintage Trains "The Lickey Banker" on its afternoon outward journey at Droitwich Spar. The morning of Saturday 20th November had been largely dry but dull but the afternoon changed to be blue sky and very bright sunshine. As the shadows lengthened it would create a serious photographic challenge with extreme contrast. But you should never miss an opportunity to photograph a Duchess!
