Vintage Trains Polar Express on Sunday 30th November 2025 consisted of two return trips only during daylight hours on Sunday 30th November 2025. The day began with brilliant winter sunshine while I waited in vain to the expected 10:40 departure from Birmingham Moor Street. I should have checked that the train had been activated before leaving home. By the time the service began the weather had deteriorated to dull with intermittent light rain, but the trains ran to time and I had just sufficient time between trains to grab a bite of lunch.
