10th June 2018 saw the second "Welsh Borders Explorer" excursion by Saphos Trains. I was pleased to be informed that haulage would be by 46100 ROYAL SCOT. The engine seemed to be in very good form and the train ran almost exactly to time throughout. I managed four locations as before but rescheduling meant that the fifth was out of the question this time.
