The third day of the Great Central Railway Winter Steam Gala on Sunday 29th January 2017 featured a busy timetable with eight locomotives and a DMU working a variety of trains. The weather forecast indicated a bright morning turning increasingly wet from midday onwards. So it proved to be the case.
