The first day of the 2019 GCR Autumn Diesel Gala on 6th September featured two guest locomotives operating three sets of passenger stock and the mineral wagon rake. The weather forecast was reasonable with up to 30% chance of rain in the middle of the day. That 30% turned out to be a brief but very heavy downpour with a change in wind direction that toppled my tripod with two Hasselblads. At present it looks like no damage but only time will tell. Enjoy the pics; they are all at Kinchley Lane. It was too difficult to risk moving elsewhere.
