This visit to the GWSR Diesel Gala was an unplanned necessity due to adverse weather conditions forecast for the north-west. The same forecast gave about 5% for rain in Cheltenham and Broadway. It seemed like a no brainer. It was - it rained all day as you can see from these photographs. Nevertheless I enjoyed the day and admired the variety of locomotives on view.
