For a change the service offered by The Great Central Railway on Sunday 8th May 2022 was just the advertised peak period timetable with one diesel and two steam locomotives operating. It was a bright sunny morning clouding over at lunch-time but fine throughout. Both steam locomotives were facing south so there were plenty of photographic opportunities.
