Hero or villain? It all depends on your point of view. Brush Type 4 Co-Co diesel electric 47 813 had pushed a very heavy train and probably the heaviest steam locomotive in Britain all day long on one of the hottest days of the year, Saturday 16th July 2022. For the record, this locomotive originally carried the number D1720 and my records show that I had seen it before the end of steam in 1968.
