BR(LMR) Royal Scot Class 7P 4-6-0 46100 ROYAL SCOT was hauling a “White Rose” excursion between Crewe and York on Wednesday 2nd February 2022. The large spacing between the up and down lines arose because the train approaching the site of Beauchief Station which was originally on a four track section of line with a central island platform.
