The bright start to Sunday 20th August 2017 was in severe decline by the time 5043 EARL OF MOUNT EDGCUMBE passed Hatton North and climbed towards "The Durham Ox" at Shrewley.
For the afternoon return run the light had failed completely and it was raining quite hard as the train reached Worlds End. What an appropriate location to have chosen!
