I eventually chose to watch the northbound run of "The Cumbrian Mountain Express" on Saturday 12th October 2019 from a gate to this field near Southwaite. While setting up my cameras this heavy freight headed south acting as a test shot. It turned out to be the 05:47 from Mossend to Daventry, running 248 minutes late when it passed me.
