Midland Pullman's excursion from Eastleigh to Carlisle, titled "The Settle and Carlisle Pullman", was six minutes early when it came round the curve from Cotehill to Duncowfold on Saturday 22nd January 2022. The train was understood to consist of nine MK3 HST coaches sandwiched between power cars 43 047 and 43 049. The spectacle could be described only as breathtaking.
