Boxing Day 2017 began bright and sunny but with an unusually strong and cold south westerly wind. The GCR train service consisted of five departures from Loughborough involving two steam locomotives. Class 9F 92214 worked four trains leaving the Jinty, 47406, to take the prestigious diner!
