Although it seemed to take an exceptional long time with the Northern Belle, all main line steam in England was cancelled due to the strikes. I turned my attention to the Heritage Sector and decided to visit the Severn Valley on Saturday 25th June 2022 for a change. I was impressed with the quantity of information about services on their website and hoped I would have an enjoyable visit. I have never been a great fan of the SVR and tend to find a poor welcome from staff and other photographers. This visit was quite the opposite with one exception and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I look forward to returning again before long.
