First thing in the morning of 25th July 2015 no-one seemed to know any details about three trips for a special charter being worked by 9F 2-10-0 92214 and Brush Type 2 diesel electric D5830. The most reliable information was derived from catering staff! As expected after much debate by the lineside fraternity, 92214 appeared shortly after 12:15 with the Cromwell Pullman dining train carrying a new version of the CROMWELL nameplate incorporating the company's crest in a very professional metal assembly. A very attractive formation indeed.
