On 30th January 1965 Battle of Britain Class locomotive 34051 WINSTON CHURCHILL hauled the train taking the body of the great wartime leader to Hanborough, Oxfordshire for burial in Bladon Church near his birthplace at Blenheim Palace. The NRM exhibit commemorates this historic event.
