I managed to get to the old Woodthorpe Lane overbridge just as the Loughborough up advanced starting signal cleared for the 13:35 departure to Rothley. I was pleased to see that it was the blue set that was in service on Saturday 27th November 2021 as it makes a change from the more frequently used green formation. The train consisted of DMCL E50266 leading TCL W59506 and DMBS M50203.
