It was raining steadily as I drove north on the M5 heading for the Norton area south east of Worcester. Almost all steam hauled trains generate a visible exhaust when they pull away from Norton Junction which is but a short distance behind the M5 bridge which formed the background to this shot. BR(LMR) Stanier Jubilee Class 6P 4-6-0 45596 BAHAMAS did not disappoint in this regard as it pulled “The Cotswold Venturer” excursion towards its destination at Worcester Shrub Hill on Saturday 18th June 2022.
