Easter Monday 2019 was a very nice day with almost unbroken sunshine. Ideal to simply watch and photograph the passing trains on the GCR. I have a suspicion that something always goes wrong on such days and on this occasion it was entirely my own fault when I almost got the car stuck where I parked for the first four shots. After much jacking and packing someone kindly stopped with a four wheel drive and towing strop. Saved at last with no shots lost and, all being well, lesson learned!
