Sunday 18th August was the first occasion in 2019 that I was able to photograph "The Shakespeare Express". With the train not having run at all in 2018, it seemed to be a long time since my regular Sunday visits to the West Midlands. Regular locomotive in past years, 4965 ROOD ASHTON HALL, has now joined 5043 EARL of MOUNT EDGCUMBE under overhaul at Tyseley and 7029 CLUN CASTLE looks set to work all the trains in 2019. It certainly performed impeccably on 18th August.
