I was a little late leaving home on Saturday 12th December 2020 and decided to go to Quorn rather than Woodthorpe to see the empty stock move. It was a good decision as I could hear the train approaching as soon as I arrived. It was running nearly ten minutes early. I was expecting the locomotive to be Stanier Class 8F 2-8-0 48305 so it was a pleasant surprise when Class 5MT 4-6-0 45305 ALDERMAN A.E.DRAPER entered the platform. It was a shame that the right hand drain was blowing which was audible most of the way from Loughborough.
