The May Day Bank Holiday weekend in 2016 began on Saturday 30th April. The GCR were running a two steam loco timetable with some diesel support. From an enthusiast point of view it seems unnecessary to pay tribute to Peppa Pig and George other than to acknowledge the increased passenger compliment.
