The first train of the day was scheduled to leave Loughborough at 09:20 and then return from Leicester North at 10:05. If this train had run to time (it would be a miracle!) it should have reached Loughborough before the line was clear for the delayed 10:15 diesel hauled service to depart. My second photograph showed English Electric Type 3 Co-Co diesel electric 37 714 pulling away from Loughborough almost 25 min late on Sunday 10th July 2022.
