The 13:00 from Loughborough to Leicester North ran as a combination of the normal service rake of coaches plus the dining car set thereby creating a seven coach formation to be hauled by Jinty 47406. Progress was slow for a train displaying express passenger headlamps but, at least, we were spared "The Elizabethan" headboard. The train is seen cuttin through the trees at the end of Buddon Wood.
