New Year's Day 2020 was rather disappointing from a weather point of view. Dense low cloud covered the Great Central Railway throughout the day making photography difficult. The same engines as the previous day, 73156 and 45305, were running but they failed to sparkle as they had done before. However all went according to plan with no failures, breakdowns or operating issues to cause delays.
