The 13:35 from Leicester North to Loughborough has a reputation for running late. This was fortunate for me on Saturday 19th February 2022 as I had only just arrived on the old Woodthorpe Lane bridge when Ivatt Class 2MT 2-6-0 46521 approached. Exhaust steam was a bonus probably due to the added train resistance with seven MK I’s in tow.
