Looking at the times I thought it possible that the delayed 11:20 steam service might pass the nominal 11:00 diesel hauled train from Leicester North south of Loughborough near Woodthorpe. I set up a camera for the returning diesel which I thought was more photogenic than a tender first steam hauled service. Wrong yet again! It was 78018 that headed south into the distance with a six coach ordinary passenger train.
